Artisans of Edinburgh is a platform collective of city makers, designed to showcase the contemporary artisanal skill of fine crafts folk in Edinburgh.

Our collective goal strives to redefine retail, offering the high street shopper a new, independent shopping experience. With considerably less footfall thanks to the shifting landscape of 2020, now is a crucial time to unite our makers. We unite self-supporting craftspeople dedicated to their individual trade and promote each Edinburgh based space to shop.

MEMBERSHIP

Artisans of Edinburgh (AoE) is first and foremost a collective of Edinburgh’s finest makers. Membership is offered to individuals and businesses who meet our current criteria (see section below...)

Throughout the year, Artisans of Edinburgh will host and invite members to participate in a variety of new multimedia campaigns.

All members have the choice to opt-in or opt-out of each proposed campaign, so there's no assumed commitment. We’re here to work for you.

Each campaign has a fixed fee, outlined upfront in a dedicated campaign proposal. This fee covers the work of professional photographic and video content creation, visual design and a digital advertising package.

A small membership fee for the collective will be required annually. The renewal of the membership is not automatic and all artisans are free to choose to continue their membership.
