Bill Baber Knitwear first opened doors back in 1977 and has been designing and producing fine Scottish knitwear from the very same Grassmarket shop ever since.
A close-knit family business, Bill and Helen Baber continue to fashion and produce the collection in-house. From yarn selection, through knitting and hand finishing, great care and attention to detail is applied to every garment, showcasing a heritage of yarns in a refreshing contemporary style.

it can be worn with, to experiment with other colours and yarns, it is an endless source of enjoyment.
Our customers come in to the workshop and they share the fun, trying on all the styles to see which suits them best. We find that each customer has a different response and that inspires us to new designs.
